  1. Hello,

I’m wondering what the official process is for getting one’s property after the sheriff comes to remove you from property. Does the sheriff take it all out once you are removed? What happens to it all?

    Thanks,

    1. There is no official process. The landlord can remove the property and put it out on the street or they can put it into a storage place or they could leave it in the unit. Have you contacted the landlord about getting your property and what happened to it?

      1. I haven’t. This is something I’m anticipating due to very bad blood between us and the landlord. I think they may just get rid of all our stuff.
