Bed Bugs and Integrated Pest Management

We have community organizers dedicated to helping renters in multi-unit buildings infested with bed bugs. The organizer provides legal and IPM education for you and interested neighbors, and helps renters unite to demand proper and effective action from the landlord.

If you would like the pro bono services of MTO’s community organizers, please contact Angelica Ugarte at mangelica@tenants-rights.org or at 773.292.4980 x 227 OR Meg Borneman at meg@tenants-rights.org at 773-292-4980 ext 231 .

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is a proven method of pest control that emphasizes simple, inexpensive prevention practices that cause the least harm to people and the environment. IPM focuses on eliminating the cause of pests by minimizing access to food, water, and hiding places.
